How do you change the clock time on a 2005 Honda Accord?

My partner and I are on a road trip across the country and we finally made it to New York. The clock in my car is now three hours behind. How can we set the clock in my 2005 Honda Accord?

  1. Park your car and put it in accessory mode by shutting off the engine without turning the car off completely.
  2. Look for the SOUND button. Beside it, you will see the word CLOCK. Press and hold this button until you hear a beep.
  3. Use the number 4 and number 5 buttons to change the hours and minutes on your clock, respectively.
  4. Press the SOUND button again to set your time and exit clock settings.
