How do you change the cabin air filter in a 2002 Honda Odyssey?
It’s spring time, and during my commute, I’ve been noticing a ton of pollen in the air. I have allergies, and in the last week, it seems like they’ve gotten worse in my car. I think the cabin air filter needs changing. How do I replace the cabin air filter in a 2002 Honda Odyssey?

Odyssey will definitely help! Here’s how:- Look up the replacement part number for your specific Honda Odyssey cabin air filter and buy it
- Open the glove box
- Remove the glove box’s stops by pressing up on the tabs
- Find the small plastic clip on the right and undo it to remove the plastic cover
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws at the bottom of the glove box
- Remove the glovebox
- Move aside the metal stay and remove the cabin air filter compartment lid
- Remove the old filter and clean the compartment
- Install new filter
- Reinstall all parts in reverse order
That’s it! To change the cabin air filter in a 2002 Honda Odyssey is a little trickier than some models just because you have to remove the glovebox. Besides that, it’s a piece of cake! Now you should be able to drive without a pollen attack.
