How do you change the air filter in your Honda Valkyrie?

The air in my car seems a bit dusty and stale lately. I’m pretty sure I need to change the cabin filter, but I don’t know how! What’s the best way to change the cabin air filter in my Honda Valkyrie?

Clogged air filters can lead to
musty smells
, humid cabins, and an overall uncomfortable driving experience. Luckily, they’re pretty easy to replace!
Follow these steps to change the air filter in your Honda Valkyrie:
  • Start by taking everything out of your glove box.
  • Slide the stop-arm off the pin holding it in place, and take it out of the glove compartment.
  • Squeeze the back and front of your glove box to free it from the clamps.
  • Pull out the glove box.
  • Look inside the empty compartment—you should see a faceplate.
  • Pick up the latches holding the faceplate in place and locate the air filter. Take note of which direction it should be installed.
  • Pull out the old air filter and clean the filter area with a vacuum and damp rag.
  • Put in your new air filter, taking extra care to install it in the right direction.
  • Reattach the faceplate and slide your glove box back into place.
Once you finish those steps, your car should be fully equipped with a new air filter! Remember, you should change your cabin air filter every 30,000 miles to prevent must, dust, and even mold from collecting in your car.
