How do you change the air filter in a 2018 Honda CR-V?
It’s very dusty where I live. My engine air filter is definitely in need of replacing. How do I change the air filter on my 2018 Honda CR-V?

The engine air filter does block a lot of dirt and debris from getting into your engine, so replacing it every now and then is a good call! Luckily, it’s pretty easy to replace an air filter in a 2018
Honda CR-V
if you follow these steps:- Remove the four screws surrounding the air intake manifold on the front right side of the engine bay. You can use a Phillips head screwdriver for this, but you don’t need to fully remove the screws to access the filter. Just loosening them up should do the trick.
- Lift the air intake manifold to expose the filter. Remove the old filter by pulling it out from under the cover.
- Slide the new filter in and replace the cover. Tighten the four screws that you loosened to secure the air intake manifold in place.
The part number for the replacement filter is 17220-5AA-A00. If you have trouble finding the replacement filter or these steps seem too complicated, visit a repair shop! Most repair shops will have the filter in stock and can easily replace it for you.
