How do you change a Honda Accord's cabin air filter?
There’s a funny smell coming from my car whenever I turn on the AC lately. My boyfriend said my air filter probably needs to be replaced. How do you change a Honda Accord’s cabin air filter?

The cabin air filter has the important job of keeping the air in your car free of contaminants. They should generally be replaced around every 25,000 miles and you can do it by yourself.
- Open the glovebox, hold it in place, and remove the black clips in the back
- Pull the tab on the left side, located next to several multicolored wires, to remove the cabin air filter cover
- Take out the air filters by their tabs, starting by sliding out the left one then shifting the right one over to the left’s position and sliding it out
- Take the dirty filters out of the frames, insert new filters, then insert the filters and frames back into their slot in the reverse order they were removed
- Replace the air filter cover, black clips, and glovebox
