How do you cancel esurance car insurance?
I’m switching jobs next month and no longer need a car. How do I go about cancelling my esurance car insurance as it will no longer be necessary when I sell my car in favor of public transit?

plan, I just want to make sure it’s the best decision for your situation. Although there are many reasons to cancel insurance, whether it be because you’re moving states, selling your vehicle
, or switching companies, it’s always a good idea to make sure canceling is the best option.With your new job and reliance on public transportation, you will be driving less. While it makes sense to sell your car and save money, you will be sacrificing some freedom.
Although it may save you money initially to cancel, it likely won’t in the long run. Prior insurance history is a factor that impacts your premium and, unfortunately, a gap in coverage can lead to higher premiums should you ever sign up for insurance again.
You might consider keeping the vehicle and just use it less. Car insurance is also in part calculated by mileage, so you may see your rate go down if you keep the vehicle and don’t use it for your commute.
