buy a car
can be an overwhelming but exciting process! The best way to buy a car and get insurance is to take your time and make sure you’re getting the best deal. Get your car insurance squared away before you close the deal on a car, as you cannot drive that car off the lot without it being insured. Here are some simple steps you should follow while car and car insurance shopping:- Narrow down your top car choices. Decide whether you want aneworusedvehicle and if you plan to lease. From there narrow down about three to five choices that you would be happy with and collect specific information about each vehicle: the vehicle identification number (VIN), current mileage, make, model, and vehicle history report.
- Get quotes fromJerry. Using the information you just collected on these cars, sign up on the Jerry app to get customized insurance quotes for each vehicle. That way, all you need to do is pick the plan that works best for you.
- Choose a car and a policy. With the information given, you should be able to decide which vehicle and policy work best for you. Once you do, reach out to the dealer and confirm your intent to buy the car you’ve chosen; this way you can be sure that the car won’t already be sold by the time you’re ready to drive it off the lot. Once you’ve confirmed your intent to buy, sign up for your policy and set it to begin the day you’ll be going to purchase the car.
