How do you build a car in Minecraft?
I really want to build a car in Minecraft, but I can never seem to get all the pieces I need. Is there an easy way to do this?

Building in Minecraft is a lot of fun—but it can be frustrating too! The easiest way to build a car in Minecraft is to begin a new game in Creative mode. It’s possible to build a car in Survival mode, but—as you’ve noticed—finding the resources is next to impossible.
Once you’re in Creative mode, move the following items from the creative inventory to your equip bar:
- Slime blocks
- Piston
- Sticky piston
- Redstone block
Now, create a staging area for your car in a flat space and follow these steps:
- Create two parallel rows of three slime blocks
- Connect the parallel rows by placing two additional slime blocks between the two rows at the center block to form a capital letter “I” shape.
Now, create the car’s body:
- Add a second layer of slime blocks on top of the original “I” shape.
- Remove the eight original slime blocks from below the second row—this creates the car’s body and allows it to move since there will be a row of air below the car.
Now finish the car:
- Remove the rear-center slime block and place it on the ground. Stack a piston on top, then replace the slime block in the original “I” formation.
- Remove both of the center slime blocks from the “I” formation and place two sticky pistons there instead.
- Replace the front sticky piston with a regular front-facing piston.
- Place a redstone block on top of the center-front and center-back slime blocks.
- Break the redstone block behind the sticky piston and your car will start to move.
