I’ve loved Ferraris since I was a kid, and I’ve always dreamed of driving one professionally. My goal in life is to become a Corso Pilota instructor, but I need to know what the path is to become one so I can get started now. What do you need to know as a Ferrari driving instructor?

To become a Ferrari driving instructor, your first step is to become a Ferrari driver! Yes, you’ll have to have a proven track record of competitive driving wins.
In addition, you’ll have to know why you win. You’ll need to understand the car as a machine, as well as how certain things like downforce and acceleration—and even how you sit in the cockpit—will affect your ability to win.
Only the greatest racing drivers, including winners of Le Mans and Daytona, qualify to become Ferrari driving instructors. So, you’ll have to start practicing and sign up for races. And it wouldn’t hurt to start saving up for a

, too!Next, you can qualify for entry in Ferrari’s Corso Pilota Driving School, where you’ll learn the following:
- Basic driving techniques: You’ll not only have to know them, but you need to have also mastered them—to the point where you can teach them to others.
- High-speed driving techniques: You have to be able to drive fast—and drive fast safely. Anyone can put the pedal to the metal, but only a few know how to not crash while doing it.
- Advanced driving techniques: Same as above! You have to know them, have mastered them, and be able to teach them.
