How do you adjust Jeep Wrangler headlights?

Whenever I drive my Jeep at night, I can’t see more than 20 or 30 feet ahead of me. Is this an issue with my headlights? How do you adjust Jeep Wrangler headlights?

If you’re having issues seeing at night, this could indicate your headlights are out of adjustment! Luckily, adjusting
Jeep Wrangler
headlights only requires a few tools and can be done at home.
The first thing you’ll want to do is find a level spot facing a wall or flat surface, like in your driveway facing your garage door or in your garage facing a wall.
Pull your Wrangler up close to your surface and turn the headlights on. Using painter’s tape, mark the horizontal and vertical center of each beam (it should end up looking like two “t’s” on your wall).
Then back up and re-park your car about 25 feet away. Now you’re ready to adjust the headlights.
Jeep Wrangler headlights can only be adjusted vertically, not horizontally. You can find the adjustment screw for your beam’s vertical projection located along the sidewall of the light cut out on your car’s grill.
Using a T15 Torx screwdriver, turn the screw clockwise or counterclockwise to align the beam with the mark you made on the wall. Counterclockwise turns will lower the height of the beam; clockwise turns will raise it.
It may be easiest to adjust each headlight one at a time and cover the other beam with a rag or cloth while making adjustments.
