My son recently got his license. He's completed a driver training program, so I feel comfortable adding him to my policy now. How would I do that?

policy should be quite easy.If you have an online account with your insurance company, you may be able to add him that way. For example,
GEICO
allows you to add and remove drivers through their Policy Service Center online. Other companies may require that you call.When adding your son to your insurance, your insurer will need his:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
You should mention that he has taken a driver training course. Many insurers offer discounts for driver training programs. If your son is a good student, you may also qualify for an additional discount. Since he is a new driver, you can expect to pay more for your insurance.
The amount it will increase varies, but it’s something to keep in mind. If you’re unhappy with the rate you’re receiving, you should shop around.
