How do you add coolant to a Honda Accord?

Can I add coolant to my Honda Accord at home? My wife says my car’s coolant needs to be topped off but I’m not sure how to add more by myself.

It’s important to maintain a normal level of coolant to keep your car in good condition!
Here’s how to add coolant to a
Honda Accord
:
  • Make sure that your engine is completely cold.
  • Open the hood
     and locate the coolant reservoir. It should be a clear plastic container by the radiator.
  • Unscrew the top of the reservoir, then slowly pour in the coolant until it reaches the full mark on the side.
  • Screw the cap back on tightly.
