, and you can easily do it without the help of a mechanic. Before you get started, make sure that you have a well-ventilated area to work in, you wear safety glasses and gloves, and you do not begin working on your car if the engine is hot.
Turn the cap counterclockwise while pressing down.
You should see a brightly colored level float in the reservoir. You should also see a diagram depicting the level float’s position when the reservoir is properly filled.
Put the funnel in the reservoir, but be sure to leave space to keep the level float visible.
Pour coolant in until the float reaches the proper height as indicated by the diagram.
Remove the funnel carefully and replace the cap.
