How do you add antifreeze to a Toyota Highlander?

Is there a way to add antifreeze to a Toyota Highlander without flushing the radiator? I would rather let a professional flush the radiator for me, but my car definitely needs more antifreeze before that happens.

You can definitely add antifreeze to your car between radiator flushes! To add antifreeze to a
Toyota Highlander
, follow these steps:
  • Open the hood
of your car and locate the coolant reservoir, which is a large white plastic container.
  • Check the coolant level to see if you need to add coolant. If the coolant is below the line on the side of the reservoir, then you’ll need to add some.
  • Remove the lid to the reservoir and carefully pour in more antifreeze until the coolant level reaches the line.
  • Once you’re done, replace the lid on the coolant reservoir and close the lid.
