While I have noticed more electric cars than I’ve ever seen before, as an American, they still feel pretty niche. Abroad, this doesn’t seem to be the case as much. How did other countries make electric cars the norm?

- New homes in England will be required to have electric vehicle charging ports.
- EV drivers in Iceland get free electricity at public charging stations, free parking, and certain tax discounts.
- EV owners in Norway do not have to pay city congestion charges.
- Estonia is the first country in the world to establish a network of charging stations and offer up to 50% off the cost of an electric vehicle.
