How do I wash a Peg Perego car seat cover?

My baby has gotten her seat very dirty over the past few months of driving. What steps should I take to wash a Peg Perego car seat cover?

Babies are cute but very messy in the car! Before you begin to wash the cover, you will need to detach the cover from the rest of the car seat. Follow these steps to wash your Peg Perego car seat cover:
  • Unlatch the main harness and remove the main cushion by undoing the buttons on the left and right sides of the headrest.
  • Remove the seat hood by unclipping the fasteners that attach it to the seat shell.
  • Detach the shoulder belts and flip the seat upside down to remove the shoulder belts from the splitter section in the rear center of the seat. Slip the belts out through the slots on the back of the shell.
  • Handwash the covers using warm water and a mild detergent solution.
  • Air dry or tumble on a no-heat setting.
Your baby’s car seat should now be sparkling clean!
