How do I wash a Nuna car seat?

My baby spit-up on our car ride today, and it got all over her seat! What's the best way to wash my daughter's Nuna car seat?

Babies and cars don’t always mix, but try not to worry! While some components of the seat must be washed by hand, others can be tossed in the washer!
The following components can be removed, and cleaned in the washer on a cold-cycle, and dried in a low-heat tumble cycle:
  • Seat cover
  • Slipcover
  • Harness pads
Alternatively, the following parts should be spot dried with a soapy sponge and warm water, and dried with a fresh towel:
  • Plastic outer shell
  • Foam support wedge
Remember, improper cleaning could damage your car seat—so read any instructions provided with your car seat before you start cleaning. Otherwise, your seat may be a liability in the case of an
accident
