How do I use cruise control on a 2018 Honda Accord?

I have an Accord that uses adaptive cruise control. I’m just not sure how to put it into use. How do I enable the cruise control on a 2018 Honda Accord?

Honda’s adaptive cruise control is a great safety feature. It automatically brakes when you get too close to an obstacle in front of you!
To use the cruise control on a 2018 Honda Accord, follow these steps:
  • Get to a steady speed.
  • Press the cruise button on the right side of the steering wheel.
  • Look at the instrument panel; it should read Cruise Main.
  • Press the Set button on the steering wheel.
  • At this point, you should see a readout that says Cruise Control.
  • Remove your foot from the gas pedal.
If done in the correct fashion, your Accord should maintain the same speed. You can also decrease or increase your speed in adaptive cruise control by pressing the buttons on the steering wheel.
While adaptive cruise control can keep you safe, you can’t be completely safe without having the right
