Liability coverage is what covers other people and their vehicles when you’re at fault in an accident. This number would be represented by a split amount, per person and per accident. For example, if you have limits of 25/50, you have $25,000 in coverage per injured person and $50,000 of coverage total in an accident.
If you’re confused about anything on your policy, call your insurance provider. An agent will be happy to walk you through your coverages and make any necessary changes.
