How do I turn on the parking sensors on my BMW?

What’s the best way to turn on the parking sensors on my BMW? I have to parallel park all the time at work, and I think they would be really helpful.

BMW’s Parking Distance Control (PDC) feature can be super helpful when parallel parking. And it’s very easy to activate! Follow these steps to turn on your BMW’s parking sensors:
  • To activate PDC, you can either press the parking assistant button on the console or put your car in reverse.
  • If you want to enable the parking aid lines, click the left sidebar on your console and check the box labeled parking guidelines.
  • If you want to enable the object marking feature, which will give you warning sounds if the system detects an obstacle, check the obstacle marking box.
Assisted parking can help keep your car safe, but you should still make sure you have the coverage you need with Jerry.
