How do I turn on my back windshield wipers?
Please don’t laugh at this silly question, but I just got my first-ever SUV, my first-ever new car even. But how do I turn on my back windshield wipers? I couldn’t figure this out on my way to work and I’m frustrated.

Congratulations on getting your first brand new car! And we genuinely believe there’s no such thing as silly questions. Turning on your rear windshield wiper actually stumps a lot of motorists at first.
The large switch you use to operate your front windshield wipers to the right of the steering wheel, has a little ring near the outside end of it. If you turn that ring backward (so the top of the ring is moving toward you), your rear windshield wiper will turn on. Most cars have speed settings, just like your front wipers have.
If you turn that ring forward (so the top of the ring is moving away from you), you’ll spray windshield wiper fluid onto the window, and most cars will then wipe that fluid away. In most cars, you can hold the ring in place for a short time to spray more windshield wiper fluid.
