How do I turn on AWD in my Acura MDX?

I’m heading out on a trip tomorrow, and judging by the snow in the forecast, I think I’m going to need to use my AWD. How do I activate AWD in my Acura MDX?

It’s always a great idea to check the road conditions before a big trip to ensure you’re prepared for what’s to come.
Luckily, your
Acura MDX
is equipped with a high-performance Super Handling AWD system, which provides seamless tire agility and is activated automatically.
Your MDX AWD system will continuously work to shift the power distribution between the front and rear wheels in accordance with your wheel speed, steering angle, lateral G-force, and yaw rate.
Despite its continuous use, the SH-AWD won’t cause you to lose out on fuel efficiency. The system will adjust accordingly to send power to the front wheels when you’re driving in a straight line and transfer engine power to the rear wheels when you need more traction.
As such, you don’t need to do anything to enable AWD in your car, as it will come on automatically when you need it.
As you head out on the slippery roads, make sure you and your car are protected with the right car insurance using
