  • Use the meter controls on the left-hand side of your steering wheel.
  • Select the Settings option–indicated by an icon that looks like a machine cog.
  • Select the Lane Departure option—indicated by an icon with a vertical dotted line beside a car that is angled to the right.
  • Hold the OK button for 1.5 seconds to change the lane departure settings
  • Select Steering Assist.
  • Press OK to disable the feature.
And that’s it! Your Toyota’s steering assist system should now be deactivated!
