How do I turn off the LKAS in a Honda Accord?

The roads in my area have messy lines and they confuse my Honda Accord’s lane keep assist system. How do I turn off my Honda Accord’s LKAS when I don’t need it?

That sounds like it can become pretty frustrating! Luckily, you can temporarily turn off the LKAS in your
Honda Accord
with the press of a few buttons on your steering wheel:
  • Press the MAIN button to toggle the LKAS and ACC settings on the multi-information display in your gauge cluster.
  • Once engaged, press the MAIN and LKAS buttons to turn the lane-keeping system off.
  • To turn the system back on, press the LKAS button and look for the lane markings on the multi-information display to confirm that the system is ready.
