How do I turn off the daytime running lights on my 2020 Honda Civic?

Hi, I just bought a 2020 Honda Civic, which I really love, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to turn off the daytime running lights, or if you have any advice on how? Thanks!

Congrats on the new car! We can definitely explain how to turn off the daytime running lights on your 2020
Honda
Civic.
Daytime running lights are an automatic safety feature that makes your car more visible to other drivers. Some Hondas come equipped with a DRL OFF setting, which allows you to simply twist the headlight control knob to DRL OFF.
If your 2020 Honda Civic doesn’t have a DRL OFF feature, no sweat! Turning off the daytime running lights is relatively simple. Follow the steps below to complete the process:
  • Look at your Honda Civic’s dashboard.
  • Remove fuse #21 (7.5A).
  • A warning may come on to alert you that the DRL light has been disabled—ignore it.
That’s it! Your daytime running lights should now be disabled.
