The beep occurs when you lock and unlock your 2017
Subaru
but can be disabled by following these steps:
  • Hold the unlock button down on the driver’s side door
  • Insert and remove the key from the ignition 6 times while holding the unlock button
  • Open and close the driver’s side door while holding the lock button
Once you’ve completed the above steps hazard lights on the dashboard will flash if the beep was successfully disabled. If not, repeat the process again.
While the lock and unlock beep may be annoying, it serves as a reminder to lock your car, and disabling it may make you more vulnerable to theft. You should consider purchasing
