How do I turn off lane departure on my 2021 Honda Accord?

I just bought a new Honda Accord and I noticed that if I drift into another lane my steering will vibrate. I called the dealer who sold me the car and he said I have to turn off the departure feature. Do you know how I can turn off lane departure on my 2021 Honda Accord?

Happy to help with this! What you’re referring to is the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS). The system is designed to alert you when you start to drift into another lane.
Below we’ve outlined how to turn off lane departure on the 2021 Honda Accord:
  • Press the MAIN button on your steering wheel until LKAS appears on your multi-information display.
  • Press LKAS. On your display, you should see lane outlines. Dotted lines will turn solid when the system is ready.
  • Press the MAIN or LKAS button to turn off the system.
Lane departure should now be successfully deactivated!
Whether you prefer driving with your LKAS system activated or deactivated, make sure your vehicle is covered with the right
