How do I turn off Driving Mode on a Galaxy Note 4?
I love my Galaxy Note 4, but it automatically enables Car Mode when I get into the car, even when I’m not the one driving. It’s not easy to get out of, either. How do I turn off Driving Mode on my Galaxy phone?

Wow, I don’t blame you—that is annoying! Thankfully, it’s a simple fix. If it’s already in Driving Mode, follow these steps:
- In Car Mode, find the three-dot menu on the top right.
- Go to Settings.
- Select My Cars.
- Deselect Auto Open via Bluetooth.
To keep it from connecting automatically, try this:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap the tab that says My Device, then select Display.
- Then click to Disable In-Pocket Detection.
If these solutions don’t work, try cleaning out the USB port on the bottom of your phone with a dry brush. Then restart your phone to test it out.
