Daytime running lights are a helpful and important safety feature. That said, they are unnecessary at times, like at a drive-in movie theater. Fortunately, turning off the daytime running lights on a 2018
Honda Accord
is easy.
Follow these steps to turn off your daytime running lights:
  • Make sure the engine is off.
  • Engage the parking brake, also known as the emergency brake, next to the gear shift and center console. To engage it, pull it up.
  • Restart the car and your daytime running lights will be off.
If you don’t want daytime running lights in the future, always remember to pull up the emergency brake before you start your 2018 Honda Accord. However, keep in mind that you can only turn off your daytime running lights while parked. If you are in motion, you don’t have a way to turn off your daytime running lights.
