How do I turn IBA on in an Infiniti Jx35?
I recently bought an Infiniti Jx35 and I understand that it is supposed to have an IBA system in it, but I don’t think it’s turned on. Yesterday I almost bumped into a car in front of me and it didn’t go off. How can I turn on the IBA system in my Infiniti Jx35?

Great question! First of all, congratulations on your new car! The intelligent brake assist (IBA) system is a great safety feature that can help avoid rear-end collisions. To turn the IBA on in your
Infiniti Jx35
, use the IBA OFF switch located below the steering wheel to the right. It will be clearly labeled. Normally, the IBA will automatically engage if a collision is imminent and alert the driver with a chiming sound. If it is not working, the most probable cause is that it has been switched off.
Look below your steering wheel and to the right. You’ll see a rectangular switch labeled IBA OFF. Flip that switch, and the IBA system should come right back on!
