How do I tighten a car door?

How can I make my car door close tighter? I've noticed recently that it feels a bit loose when it's open and doesn't close tightly.

“At the basic level, tightening your car door is as simple as tightening some bolts.
If you feel like the door is sagging when you open it, simply locate the bolts where the door attaches to the frame. Tighten each bolt, and it should fix the problem.
If your car door still isn’t closing tightly, several things could be to blame. Here are a few:
  • Door alignment
  • Latches
  • Striker plate
  • Hinges
  • Handle
  • Lock actuator
Before you attempt to repair the problem, it’s vital to determine the culprit. However, the solution could potentially require the skills of a professional, especially if you need a specific part. The good news is repairs may be covered by your
