I am moving to Las Vegas. Pretty stoked for the move, but nervous about the infamous heat. How can I tell if my car is overheating?

Way to be proactive about your car’s health! Here are some signs to tell if your car is overheating:
  • Your dashboard’s temperature warning light turns on.
  • Coolant is leaking from your undercarriage.
  • Steam is emitting from your engine.
  • The car is making a thumping noise.
  • The engine is not working at full strength.
Be aware that high temperatures are not the only cause of overheating. Issues with your engine or not enough oil or coolant can also cause overheating.
While an overheating engine may not be covered, there are plenty of repairs and expenses that a good
