Since you haven’t sold insurance before, you need to get licensed first. To get a car insurance license in

, you need to:
  • Take 20 hours of pre-licensing education
  • Take the licensing exam
  • Get fingerprinted
  • Apply for a license
After getting approved for your license, join an agency or a brokerage. From there, you can officially sell insurance!
If you don’t want to complete these steps by yourself, you could try and find a job before becoming a licensed agent. To attract new talent, many
