How do I reset the smart car maintenance light?

The maintenance light on my smart car won’t turn off and it’s frustrating to no end! How do I reset it?

That does sound frustrating! Luckily, the fix is pretty simple. To reset the
smart car
 maintenance light, follow these five easy steps:
  • Turn on the ignition. Just start the power and do not start the engine.
  • Within four seconds, select the maintenance indicator on the dashboard screen. You should see a wrench and a mileage service meter displayed on the screen.
  • Within 10 seconds, turn off your ignition. You should still see the maintenance indicator.
  • Push and hold the service button and turn on the ignition power.
  • Hold the button for 10 seconds and you should see the display screen reset.
And there you have it, your maintenance light is reset!
