How do I reset the oil maintenance light on a Honda Pilot? I have a 2017 Honda Pilot, and my brother came over to help change my oil. Typically, he takes care of changing my oil and resetting the maintenance light for me so I don’t have to worry about it. But he forgot to reset the oil maintenance light this time and now I have to figure out how to do it.

Resetting the oil maintenance
light
is a straightforward process; don’t worry. After following these instructions, you’ll be a pro at it! - Turn the ignition on but don’t start the car.
- Using the up and down information buttons located on the bottom right of your steering wheel, find the Oil Life menu displayed on your multi-information display (MID) on the dashboard.
- In the same area as the up and down buttons on your steering wheel, locate the Reset button and hold it down. The Maintenance Reset mode should appear on the MID.
- Use the up and down buttons to select the Reset option. Push the Reset button to perform the reset action.
