How do I reset the oil life on a Honda Accord?

Is there a way to reset the oil life on my Honda Accord? I got the oil changed recently, and I think they forgot to reset the light in my car.

Yes! You can reset the oil life in your Honda Accord by following these steps:
  • Turn the ignition to the RUN position.
  • Press the Select/Reset stem until you see Engine Oil Life Indicator displayed on your screen.
  • Press and hold the Select/Reset button for 10 seconds.
  • Release the button, then press and hold it again, this time for five seconds.
  • Turn your car off, then turn it all the way on. You should see your oil life indicator return to 100% or see your
    maintenance light
    reset when you do this.
If your oil life doesn’t reset, you may have a problem with your oil sensor or your engine. It’s a good idea to visit a mechanic to get the problem checked out. That way, you won’t run into more problems with your engine later!
