How do I reset the odometer in my Toyota Highlander?

I’m so confused. I’ve been trying to reset the odometer in my Toyota Highlander. In every car I’ve ever owned, there was a long black button/stick sort of thing sticking out of the cluster gauge area that would reset to the odometer. I don’t see that in my new Highlander. What am I missing?

Later model Highlanders have a slightly different way of controlling the odometer—-meaning the button is just located in a different spot. To reset the odometer in your
Toyota Highlander
, find the small rectangular button labeled “ODO Trip”—it’s located directly to the left of your steering wheel.
Once you’ve found the right button, the controls are pretty much identical to any other car. Press the button once to switch between different saved trips, and hold it down to reset a specific trip.
And it’s as easy as that! You shouldn’t have any more trouble managing your Highlander’s odometer!
Sounds like you just recently got it—congratulations on the new ride! Don’t forget to use
