How do I reset the B1 service light in a Honda Civic?

The center screen in my instrument panel still says B1 after I changed my oil. How do you reset maintenance alerts in a Honda Civic?

! To reset the B1 service light in a Honda Civic, all you need to do is press and hold a single button.
Try this:
  1. Locate the Select/Reset button and press it to cycle through the service menus until the oil life indicator appears on the dashboard screen.
  2. Hold this button down again for 10 seconds until the B1 code begins to flash.
  3. Continue holding it down until the oil life resets to 100% and all maintenance lights disappear.
Just like that, you’ve reset the B1 service light on your Honda Civic!
