I have a Honda Accord. I want to add some accent lighting under the steering wheel to illuminate the floorboard. However, I need to remove the panel under the steering wheel. How can I remove this panel without breaking it?

Accent lighting under the steering wheel adds an awesome ambiance to your
Honda Accord
! The good news is that removing the panel is simple. To remove the panel under the steering wheel, gently pull the panel until it comes loose. It’s only attached with snaps, so it should come out with ease.
In newer models, you may find a second panel behind the first one. This panel has two screws holding it in place. To remove this panel, use a Phillips-head screwdriver to take out the two screws. Then, pull the panel out.
As far as wiring, you may need to locate a schematic of the electrical system or consult a professional. You don’t want to blow any fuses while wiring the lighting, so you should also ensure your lights are the proper voltage.
