Oh no, what a mess! Luckily, you can easily remove slime from your car’s carpet with vinegar.
To remove slime from your car
carpet
, here’s what you’ll need:
  • Distilled white vinegar
  • Water
  • Butter knife or paint scraper
  • Spray bottle
  • Scrubbing brush
  • Clean towel
  • Vacuum
  • Step one: Use a knife to scrape off the slime. Begin from the outside edges of the slime and work your way towards the center.
  • Step two: In a clean spray bottle, pour 2/3 cup of distilled white vinegar and 1/3 cup of warm water. Spray this solution onto the slime and fully saturate it. Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes.
  • Step three: Scrub the slime using a scrubbing brush. Apply pressure when you are scrubbing, but not too much that you damage the carpet.
  • Step four: Repeat steps two and three if there are leftover pieces of slime.
  • Step five: Once all the slime is removed from the carpet, use a towel to dry.
  • Step six: Once the carpet is blotted dry from the towel, vacuum to pick up any tiny pieces caught in the carpet fibers.
