Single-edged razor blade or box cutter for a glass surface
Stiff plastic card (grocery store card, credit card, or ID) or plastic putty knife for painted or chrome surface
Step 1: Put the ice cube in the plastic baggie. Seal the baggie to keep the water from dripping down the side of the car as the ice cube melts.
Step 2: Hold the ice cube on the gum. Leave it there for a few minutes until the gum gets hard and brittle.
Step 3: Slide the plastic card, putty knife, or razor blade under the edge of the gum. Twist the card, putty knife, or razor blade to pop the gum off.
