How do I remove grease from the car headliner?

I work in construction, and the other day I glanced up and saw that I'd somehow got grease on my car headliner—I must have touched it without realizing. I work with grease, but I like to keep my car clean, and I'd like to clean up this mess if I can. How do I get rid of this grease?

“Grease is always a frustrating stain to try and remove! However, I’m happy to say it can be done in three easy steps:
  • Start by dabbing the affected area with a paper towel to remove the excess.
  • Mix either ammonia or peroxide with water and spray the area.
  • Blot it with a paper towel.
If possible, wash your hands before getting into your car to avoid grease stains. Not only can statins lower the
retail value
of your car, but slippery grease on the steering wheel could
lead to an accident
if your hand slips.
If you think it’s likely that you might forget to wash your hands before getting in the car, you might want to make sure you’re covered on collision insurance. If you don’t have collision coverage, try shopping around to see how much it would cost to add to your plan. One great resource for this is the

Good luck with removing the stain!”
