Unscrew the rear fastener knob on the driver’s side of your car. This is located near the speaker bar. Make sure to place the knob somewhere safe!
Open the three L-shaped locks on the ceiling, then unlock the header panel latch. You should now be able to pop off this section of the roof.
Repeat this process on the passenger side of the vehicle.
To remove the hardtop’s frame, you need to unscrew it. It should have screws to remove in the trunk and on each side of the Jeep. Once these are unscrewed, you can remove the wiring harness.
Finally, you (and a helper) can lift and remove the hardtop.
