How do I reduce the price of car insurance?
My car insurance is currently $150 a month. While I can afford it, I would like to reduce the cost. How can I reduce the price of my insurance?

First, you should reach out to your insurance provider. You may be eligible for additional discounts. You could take a driver training course or enroll in a driving behavior program if offered.
If you aren’t eligible for additional discounts, look at the coverage on your policy. If you have optional coverages like
towing and labor
or rental reimbursement
. Removing coverage you don’t need can reduce the cost of your premium.If you currently have full coverage, you may consider carrying liability only or raising your deductibles. Both options would reduce your price as well.
Should none of those options work, shop around. No insurer rates policies the same, so you may be eligible for a lower price with another company.
