How do I protect my car from mice?

How can I prevent mice from getting in my car? I live in rural Wyoming, and there's a lot of field mice near my home. I'm worried that the little guys will make a nest in my car. Is there any way to prevent this?

Mice are cute, but not when they’re living in your car! Since you live someplace with a lot of field mice, you’re going to have to be extra vigilant. Here’s what can help keep your furry little friends out:
  • Park in a sealed garage. Keep those doors closed and place traps in the corner to catch any mousy intruders.
  • Park
away from trash cans or any areas that may attract the little critters.
  • Keep your car clean and
    deep clean
it regularly. Don’t give mice any reason to want to nap in your vehicle!
  • Remove any newspapers or food from the garage that you park your car in. Get rid of anything that could attract mice.
While you’re working to prevent mice from getting in your car, you might want to consider reviewing your car insurance policy, too—after all, your car can use all the protection it can get! One easy way to make sure you’re getting the best deal on the coverage you need is through the
Jerry
app. We’ll get you personalized quotes from different providers so that all you need to do is pick the plan that works best for you.
Best of luck with everything!
