You can program a Kia garage door opener quickly—just park in front of the desired garage and grab your current garage door clicker.
Kia uses the HomeLink system to connect your car to your garage motor—you can program up to three garage door remotes on the HomeLink system.
With your clicker in hand, hold it within a few inches of the HomeLink system. Then, press both the button on your clicker and the HomeLink button you want to program. If the indicator light turns a solid color, you’re finished.
If the button begins flashing, you’ll need to press the Smart or Learn button on your garage door motor then get back to your car and press the HomeLink button within thirty seconds.
