Programming your
Jeep’s
garage door opener should only take a few minutes—you just need to be parked near your garage and have access to your current garage door clicker.Jeep uses the HomeLink system, which allows drivers to program up to three garage door openers.
Here’s a breakdown of how to set up your Jeep JL’s garage door opener:
- While sitting in your vehicle, hold your garage door clicker right beside your HomeLink system.
- Press both the desired HomeLink button and your garage door clicker button.
- Hold for ten seconds.
- If the EVIC displays a message that says “Trained,” you’re ready to go!
- If the above does not work, you’ll need to press the Smart or Learn button on your garage door motor, then click the desired HomeLink button within thirty seconds.
