How do I program a Hyundai garage door opener?
My Hyundai Tucson came with the HomeLink feature that is supposed to connect to my garage door. I haven’t tried to use it until now, and I am not sure how it works. How do you program a Hyundai garage door opener?

You can easily program your Hyundai garage door opener—all you need is a few minutes and the remote opener for your garage.
Here is a step by step breakdown of what to do:
- Start with your car in the driveway and your garage closed.
- **Press and hold buttons #1 and #3 **on the HomeLink system until the indicator light begins flashing.
- Holding your remote within a few inches of your rearview mirror, Press and hold the button on your garage door remote control, and the button that you want to program at the same time.
- Continue to hold the buttons until the** red light on your rearview mirror turns solid**, or starts flashing faster.
- You should be all set! Press the button on your Hyundai’s rearview mirror make sure it is programmed. If the door doesn’t open, repeat the process.
