My wife just got a new Honda Pilot, but did not learn how to work the garage door opener before leaving the lot. I want to fix it for her before she gets home today. How do you program a Honda Pilot garage door opener?

- Choose which of the three garage door buttons you want to operate the garage door: you’ll need one to open it and one to close it.
- Hold down both buttons for a few seconds to pair them. Watch for a blinking red light in the house icon to make sure they are pairing correctly.
- Test the garage door opener.
And that’s it! If you have any issues, you can also check the owner’s manual. It will often include instructions or troubleshooting tips if the pairing doesn’t work.
