How do I program a Ford Expedition key?
I just bought a new universal key fob so my son can use my car. How do I program a key fob to work on my Ford?

To program a Ford Expedition key, you will need to have your existing fob nearby. Then, follow these steps to program the new key to your vehicle:
- Turn the ignition to the on position, then switch it to off, repeating eight times within a 10-second period. You should hear the power locks open and close three times, indicating that a new key is ready to be paired.
- Within 20 seconds, press any key on the new remote. The locks will cycle once to confirm that it has been programmed.
- Turn the ignition to the off position to confirm that the programming mode has concluded.
